Jonathan Eig has been studying pop culture as both a fan and scholar for five decades. After 20+ years teaching and writing about movies for websites like Huffpost and Curnblog, he began working as a site contributor for Riggo's Rag in 2020. More recently, he has begun contributing to 12th Man Rising because Seattle keeps beating Washington in the playoffs. When he is not writing about football, you can usually find him at a concert and/or serving as a contributor to AudioPhix, where he has been writing music columns since 2023.
