Can the Washington Football Team knock out two birds with one stone in Week 7?

There are two tasks on hand for the Washington Football Team as they near their next 2020 matchup: Get back in the win column, and renew a long-gone-stale rivalry with the Dallas Cowboys. Courtesy of a weirdly, universally terrible NFC East, they’ll get their chance in Week 7.

Today, at FedEx Field, Washington, sitting at 1-5, takes on the 2-4 Dallas Cowboys, and while Washington is in bad shape in its first season under Ron Rivera, Dallas isn’t faring much better with Mike McCarthy. Injuries have torn Dallas’ playoff-caliber roster apart, and players are quickly becoming disillusioned with what’s been viewed as an unprepared, non-impactful coaching staff.

Believe it or not, Washington has a chance to get back into the NFC East race, again. Given how hard it’s been for them to win, it isn’t expected, but Rivera still has a chance to chase his fleeting playoff hopes, if he wishes to do so.

This game will probably be ugly and unpredictable, but that’s part of the appeal if you’re a viewer. You can stream the game live on either FuboTV or NFL Game Pass, or watch it live on Fox Sports, provided that you live in the local area.
