Redskins training camp is finally here.

Football is in the air once again. Redskins training camp has opened as of July 26, 2018, and the rampant speculation about the season can now come to an end. Well, not entirely to an end, but the fact is that now fans and analysts alike will have some actual on-field performances available to analyze the players with.

This team’s training camp figures to be one of the most competitive for the team in recent seasons. With an influx of talent joining the team, including a new starting quarterback, talented rookies on both sides of the ball, and a couple of smart additions on defense as well. It’s going to be really interesting to see how the young draft picks and new veterans alike fare in their first season in the nation’s capital.

At this point, Washington players still have a lot to show. There are competitions to sort out, roster spots to win, and breakout seasons to begin. All of this will be sorted out in training camp and the preseason, and the road to the postseason begins now for the Skins.
