The Washington Commanders will have a national NFL audience watching their final preseason game. Dan Quinn's men are on home soil against the New England Patriots, which will be on NBC and is being called by Cris Collinsworth and Mike Tirico.

Quinn's given his top stars plenty of game time over the opening two preseason contests. That won't be the case this time around, so the onus is on those further down the depth chart to stake one more big claim before final cuts.

Adam Peters will have a good indication of where this roster is and what more is needed. Trading wide receiver Jahan Dotson was another example of his aggressive nature. Expect the same trend to continue in the days ahead as the Commanders move into what will hopefully become a prosperous new era for one of the league's most historic franchises.

Finishing their preseason games on a high would be nice. However, getting the players through unscathed will be the primary objective for Quinn and his staff before attention turns to Week 1 at the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Patriots vs. Commanders prop bets for Preseason Week 3

Jayden Daniels won't be suiting up in this one after the Commanders officially named him their starting quarterback this week. That might not be the case with New England, who look set to give Drake Maye some involvement with the primetime spotlight glaring.

FanDuel Sportsbook has a couple of prop bets around Maye. They're offering +600 on the rookie signal-caller scoring a passing touchdown versus the Commanders on his first drive (bet $100 to win $600). Anyone who thinks the North Carolina product will rush for a score right out of the gate can get odds of +4100 (bet $100 to win $4,100).

For the Commanders, FanDuel is offering the following odds:

  • 1+ passing touchdown: +165
  • 2+ passing touchdowns: +1100
  • 3+ passing touchdowns: +6500
  • 1+ rushing touchdown: -220
  • 2+ rushing touchdowns: +210
  • 3+ rushing touchdowns: +850
  • 200+ receiving yards: -130
  • 225+ receiving yards: +130
  • 250+ receiving yards: +200
  • 275+ receiving yards: +320
  • 75+ rushing yards: -210
  • 100+ rushing yards: +125
  • 125+ rushing yards: +280
  • 150+ rushing yards: +650

Game odds refresh periodically and are subject to change.
