Which Washington Commanders are worth placing in your fantasy football lineups for their Week 1 game against the Arizona Cardinals at FedEx Field?

The time has finally arrived. Ron Rivera leads his rejuvenated Washington Commanders into battle this afternoon against the Arizona Cardinals for what promises to be an emotionally charged atmosphere for all involved.

This is the first game under new ownership and many famous faces from the past are also making a return to the setup. The Commanders actually have a home advantage again and couldn't ask for a better opponent to begin their campaign looking at how Arizona has gone about its business in recent weeks.

Of course, it's also fantasy football season. With this in mind, here are the three best Washington options to get in your lineup.

Terry McLaurin - Commanders WR

It has been a couple of weeks since we heard anything positive from Terry McLaurin, but now Commanders fans can breathe a sigh of relief. After his injury in the preseason, Washington has been monitoring his updates closely. But since Thursday, the wideout has been practicing with no limitations.

McLaurin can put up some great fantasy numbers with a new offensive scheme and other playmakers. In most fantasy leagues, he's a solid No. 2 option.

With his dependability to create separation and make tough catches, McLaurin's best fantasy performance came against the New York Giants in Week 13. He accumulated 16.5 fantasy points with eight catches, 105 yards receiving, and a touchdown.

It's safe to say he's a very reliable receiver and considering his chemistry with Sam Howell, the expectation is for McLaurin to make a contribution. Just how much he'll influence proceedings after missing so much time remains to be seen.

Overall, there's a lot of potential this week going against a Cardinals team that most likely playing its way into the top pick in next year's draft. McLaurin's fantasy outlook looks positive, especially if the Commanders get off to a hot start.
