This is a massive year for Jayden Daniels. He's had to deal with plenty of criticism and ridicule throughout the offseason, stemming from his injury-hit 2025 campaign and his NIL dispute with LSU.
Now, he gets the chance to shut everyone up in an offense that looks much better suited to his skill set.
Daniels has to make a good early impression against the Eagles. It won't be easy, especially if the offensive line doesn't meet expectations. But if everything around the signal-caller is even adequate, the No. 2 pick in 2024 can keep this closer than most people think.
