Redskins vs. Falcons: Storylines, how to watch, and more
By Ian Cummings
The Redskins start the second half of their preseason slate later tonight, but in actuality, Week 3 will be the climax of the four-week span.
Traditionally, the third week of the Washington Redskins preseason schedule is known as the dress rehearsal game; it’s the game where the starters take a quick break from their break, in order to shake off the rust, get ready for the regular season, and get acclimated with their new cohorts on the starting lineup.
Some teams mix it up in preseason, and give their starters more or even less time, but generally, Week 3 is where you see most of the starters suit up. Thus, there are plenty of intriguing storylines stemming from the speculation around the Redskins starting lineup. Will the Redskins give Dwayne Haskins a shot to unseat Case Keenum? Who will form the starting trio at receiver? How will the starting offensive line turn out, and how will the linebacker duo fare?
In a few hours, we’ll get some answers to these pressing questions. But in the meantime, feel free to browse through the links below while you’re waiting for game action to start. The game kicks off at 7:30 PM eastern time, at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia. If you live in the local D.C. area, you’ll be able to watch live on NBC Sports. Otherwise, you can live stream with either NFL Game Pass or FuboTV!
