The 2019 NFL Draft has passed, but for the Redskins, the draft process isn’t yet finished.

Now that the selections have been made, the Washington Redskins focus will go from evaluation to acclimation. Coaches will introduce themselves to the players and integrate their teaching styles from individual to individual. Players will be taught the playbook, and seek to refine their mental game as coaches hone their skills on the practice field.

The acclimation process is a long and arduous one, and it takes time. While the coaches focus on this widespread transition from the collegiate game to the professional level, we can continue to evaluate players and picks from afar, and determine the potential that’s been unlocked for the 2019 regular season, and beyond.

Last week, we were joined by Riggo’s Rag contributor Conor Forrest, who gave his thoughts in a general draft overview podcast. In that podcast, we brushed over the Redskins picks in the 2019 NFL Draft and hypothesized what the team’s draft success might mean for both the immediate and the distant future.

This time around, we fired up the podcast to talk the NFL Draft once again, but the structure is different. This time around, I was joined by @NoahDraft, a Redskins draft expert on Twitter, to break down the Redskins draft selections, one by one. Want to hear about how the Redskins’ first-rounders, Dwayne Haskins and Montez Sweat, will contribute early, how the middle-round offensive linemen might provide an impact, and how a certain sixth-round receiver might factor into the starting equation?
