Redskins vs. Cowboys, part two: Storylines, how to watch, more
By Ian Cummings
It might only be Week 12, but the Redskins could very well be playing for the NFC East title on Thanksgiving afternoon.
Week 11 didn’t go well for the Washington Redskins. The team lost a close battle against the surging Houston Texans, and their starting quarterback broke his fibula and tibia in the process.
On top of the game results, the Cowboys won their Week 11 matchup against the Atlanta Falcons, who the Redskins lost to in embarrassing fashion earlier in the season. The Cowboys now sit just one game behind Washington, with a record of 5-5. And with a win today, while the Cowboys would still be in second place, the Redskins’ unquestioned control of the NFC East would suddenly be disrupted.
It won’t happen, however, if Colt McCoy has anything to say about it. McCoy has a history with the Dallas Cowboys, one that the Cowboys would rather forget. Dubbed as the “Cowboy Killer” in some fan circles, McCoy has an opportunity to add to his unorthodox legacy in D.C. today. He’ll face a borderline elite Cowboys defense, which would make any sustained success all the more impressive.
The game will be broadcast live throughout the United States, but if you’re somehow unable to watch, you can use your device and stream the game on either FuboTV or NFL Game Pass. Before you get too comfortable, be sure to check out our pregame links, listed below!
