NFC East Power Rankings after Commanders epic comeback win in Week 2
By Ryan Heckman
1. Dallas Cowboys (2-0)
Atop the NFC East, the Dallas Cowboys sit at 2-0 as well. But, what makes them the no. 1 team in the division is how they've gotten to that record. Sure, their wins have been over the lowly New York Giants and an Aaron Rodgers-less New York Jets team.
But, the Cowboys have done exactly what has been expected of them in these games. They have completely dominated in every sense. If you look at Week 2, specifically, the Cowboys were able to put up 30 points on the Jets' excellent defense. While New York didn't do much offensively, their defense is still a stout unit and the Cowboys exploited it.
It was a well-rounded game for the Cowboys offense, too, as he threw for 255 yards and a pair of touchdowns. The Cowboys also ran for 134 yards, and their offense did not have to work too hard to win this game. The Jets only maintained possession for just under 18 minutes in the game, making it very easy on Dallas.
Next week, the Cowboys take on the Arizona Cardinals in a game that could be over within one quarter.
