Josh Harris' excitement for Commanders stadium process

One of the more pressing priorities facing Josh Harris' ownership group centers around building a new home for the Washington Commanders. Despite pumping $40 million into improving FedEx Field, a long-term plan needs to be formed and the offers are flooding in now that Dan Snyder is no longer complicating matters.

It's easy to forget that this is one of the NFL's most storied franchises. Now that the dark cloud of disgrace has been lifted, sponsors are returning and doors are opening regarding a potential new stadium venue.

When discussing the topic recently, Harris stated via USA Today Sports that there is a real sense of excitement heading into the process. Although the billionaire acknowledged that a quick resolution would be preferable considering it could take around a decade to see these dreams realized.

"We're looking. We're very excited to be welcomed by all three jurisdictions and we're looking forward to the process. The sooner we get started, the sooner we'll have a new home."

Virginia and Maryland are doing everything in their power to have the Commanders in their state permanently. A nostalgic return to the RFK Stadium site is also on the table, which would be an incredible turn of events.

Regardless of where the new stadium goes, the Commanders have a bright future at long last. Something that everyone associated with the organization should be thankful for.
