What were the key numbers from yet another disappointing loss for the Washington Commanders in Week 15 at the Los Angeles Rams?

As if the Washington Commanders needed more drama, add a quarterback controversy to the list after the 28-20 loss at the Los Angeles Rams.

Sam Howell was benched in the fourth quarter after throwing an interception. It was arguably the worst showing of his young career.

Jacoby Brissett came in and nearly led the Commanders to a comeback with back-to-back scoring drives. But with the poor clock management on their last scoring series, it was all for naught.

Was Brissett’s play due more to a lax defensive effort by a Rams team up 21 or a better understanding of Eric Bieniemy’s offense? That’s up for debate.

However, after Sunday’s game, the Commanders are left with even more questions going into next season. Unfortunately, the general manager and coaching staff that need to answer them are not yet in the building.

The only answer we got from Ron Rivera about why Howell was benched was so they could take care of him a little bit. Sounds about right where this head coach is concerned.

Let’s get into the key numbers from the Commanders' Week 15 loss that dropped the team to 4-10. Just three more weeks to go, hang in there.
