Which Washington Commanders are likely embarking on their final game with the team in Week 18 against the Dallas Cowboys?

It's been a grueling campaign for everyone associated with the Washington Commanders. Things started so promisingly with introducing new ownership and a 2-0 start. After that, a downward spiral into the abyss could land the franchise with the No. 2 overall selection in the 2024 NFL Draft depending on what transpires during their regular-season finale.

Big changes are coming once Washington's last engagement of the campaign concludes. All signs point to Josh Harris and his wealthy team of investors hitting the reset button. Many coaches will be gone. Most of the playing staff and front office should also be nervously looking over their shoulders right now.

This is needed in no uncertain terms. Harris has ambitious plans to turn the Commanders into an industry leader on and off the field. To make an omelet, you have to break a few eggs.

With this in mind, here are six Commanders who could be embarking on their final game with the team versus the Dallas Cowboys this weekend.

Saahdiq Charles - Commanders OL

The Washington Commanders offensive line hasn't met even modest expectations this season. It's been another frustrating campaign on the injury front for Saahdiq Charles, who's featured in just 594 snaps. The former fourth-round selection has conceded three sacks and given up a further three penalties. With a new regime about to come into the franchise, Sunday's game might be his last.

Charles was drafted after a decent college career at LSU. The Commanders opted to switch him from the edge onto the interior - which was thought to be the best thing for his physical attributes. Unfortunately for the player and the organization, his consistency and health issues made it difficult to generate any sort of momentum.

Once his rookie contract expires, expect the Commanders to move on. Although there's enough to suggest he could get a shot elsewhere.
