The Washington Commanders have a pivotal training camp ahead of them this summer, Everything has to go right to stand any chance of being competitive within the NFC East, which is magnified further by the impending arrival of new ownership once their transaction gets foral NFL approval next month.

Josh Harris and his team of investors will be monitoring things extremely closely in Ashburn. This might be an unwanted distraction, but it should provide Ron Rivera and everyone associated with the franchise with an added sense of urgency to ensure maximum effort.

Washington has enough talent if certain position groups don't fall by the wayside. But they'll need a collective effort to make a postseason return looking at the bigger picture.

With that being said, here are four Commanders players with soaring stock ahead of training camp in 2023.

Saahdiq Charles is being penciled in as the starting left guard on the Washington Commanders' revamped offensive line, but head coach Ron Rivera has given Chris Paul a confidence boost by claiming that he isn't that far behind after early workouts. Something that comes relatively out of the blue given how little the former seventh-rounder was involved as a rookie.

Paul boasts the position versatility Rivera loves and has clearly made strides since entering the league. Whether it's enough to unseat Charles remains to be seen, but it's a nice problem for the Commanders to have within a position group in dire need of improvements.
