What are some of the more underrated storylines that fans should monitor closely throughout Washington Commanders' training camp in 2023?

There is an unfamiliar buzz surrounding the Washington Commanders - at least locally - that hasn't been around in a long, long time.

There has been no bigger story this offseason than Dan Snyder finally caving and selling the Commanders to Josh Harris, Magic Johnson, and the new ownership group. That alone is one of the biggest storylines to follow as the new season begins.

How will Harris and company operate in their first season taking over the team literally as training camp begins? While we can speculate for days, many of those answers won't come for weeks, months, and even years.

What about on the field? The main things most fans will be watching are quite obvious now that camp has officially kicked off. How will Sam Howell command an offense loaded with playmakers under a new system with Eric Bieniemy calling the shots? Will Chase Young return to the quarterback-wrecker that earned him NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year honors or did the injury hinder a player most viewed as a generational prospect?

How will Washington's draft class adjust to the speed of the game? This bears more significance for Emmanuel Forbes, who appears to be a ball-hawking corner who could start Week 1.

Those are a few of the obvious storylines as we embark on what feels like one of the most exciting new seasons for Washington football in years. But what under-the-radar things should fans be paying attention to with camp in full swing?
