3 Commanders players that must improve in Week 3 vs. the Bills
By Dean Jones
Which Washington Commanders players need to improve their respective performance levels when they take on the Buffalo Bills in Week 3?
If the Washington Commanders can somehow get one over on the Buffalo Bills this afternoon, the entire NFL will begin to look at them differently. For now, their start is being labeled with context attached considering the opposition, but that won't be the case if they emerge from FedEx Field with success over a potential AFC conference challenger.
This needs to be a collective effort. Everyone must be at the top of their game in this one, especially considering even the slightest weak link will be exploited by a top Bills outfit led by quarterback Josh Allen and head coach Sean McDermott.
The atmosphere - although wet and wild - promises to be electric with legends being honored and a sold-out crowd willing the Commanders to victory. But the important thing for Ron Rivera and his players is maintaining focus in the face of exceptional opposition.
With that being said, here are three Commanders players who must improve versus the Bills in Week 3.
Camaron Cheeseman - Commanders LS
It's pretty simple for Camaron Cheeseman this week. Either play mistake-free football or the Washington Commanders will turn to one of the long-snappers they brought in for a workout after another subpar effort at the Denver Broncos.
Cheeseman looks like a player devoid of any confidence right now. Some mechanical alternations to his technique just haven't reaped rewards as yet, which raises the stakes higher than ever where the former sixth-round selection is concerned.
If the Commanders want to stand any chance of beating the Bills, they need to make opportunities count, Therefore, any further errors from Cheeseman will not be well received.
