Bold predictions for the Washington Commanders as they go in search of an unlikely victory against the Miami Dolphins in Week 13.

Things don't look too promising for the Washington Commanders right now. Languishing at 4-8 with the Miami Dolphins upcoming before the bye week, there's a real chance of a fourth successive losing campaign under head coach Ron Rivera being confirmed ahead of the team's extended rest period.

That's unlikely to see Rivera relieved of his duties in-season, although the eventual outcome after the campaign seems like a foregone conclusion. The Dolphins aren't going to be giving out favors as postseason contenders within a huge competitive AFC conference, so the challenge couldn't be greater in front of the home crowd at FedEx Field.

Showing fight and being as competitive as possible is always the minimum requirement. That might not be enough to achieve success, but it'll show the locker room is still pulling together in the face of adversity.

With that being said, here are three bold Commanders predictions in Week 13

Brian Robinson Jr. gains 100+ rushing yards

Establishing the run and controlling the clock are two integral components to a shocking victory for the Washington Commanders in Week 13. The best way to restrict Mike McDaniel's high-octane offense is by keeping them off the field, so Brian Robinson Jr. has a big part to play.

Providing Eric Bieniemy gives his primary running back enough opportunities, Robinson can do some damage. Miami is conceding 92.8 yards per game on the ground - which is among the league's best - but that's largely down to teams having to throw so much playing from behind.

Robinson's enjoyed a decent enough season and is evolving into a genuine three-down presence. Gaining more than 100 rushing yards in this one would be another feather in his cap.
