Bold predictions for the Washington Commanders as they go in search of an unlikely Thanksgiving Day victory at the Dallas Cowboys in Week 12.

Thanksgiving Day has arrived and we hope you all have a fantastic time with your families. Whether there will be anything for the Washington Commanders to be thankful for during their Week 12 game at the Dallas Cowboys this afternoon is another matter.

The Commanders are staring down the barrel of their fourth-straight losing season under head coach Ron Rivera. Josh Harris' ownership group is ready and willing to make changes if needed, so the performance and fight remaining within the locker room in this one will go a long way to determining whether or not the head coach gets an opportunity to see out the schedule.

Washington is 0-4 within the division after getting swept by the Philadelphia Eagles and New York Giants. A hammering versus a Cowboys team look could go deep into the postseason is unlikely to go down well, although the Commanders have played up to top-level opposition more often than not this season.

Looking ahead to the game, here are three bold Commanders predictions in Week 12.

Commanders S Kamren Curl gains an INT

Amid another campaign of underachievement, Kamren Curl's emergence into one of the league's best three-down safeties remains a shining light. The former seventh-round selection is doing his chances of earning a lucrative contract extension an untold amount of good, which should be among the team's top priorities once the 2023 season concludes.

Curl is a tackling machine and is improving from a coverage standpoint to further enhance his influence. He has yet to achieve an interception this season, but if the Washington Commanders defense front can put some pressure on quarterback Dak Prescott, turnover opportunities could emerge.
