The Washington Commanders have gone through some injury issues in the days leading up to their Week 10 home showdown with the Pittsburgh Steelers. This is all part of the business, especially for a team with a bye relatively late in proceedings.

It could be a lot worse for the Commanders. They'll be without star running back Brian Robinson Jr. for the second-straight game with a hamstring issue. Not exactly ideal, but those in power are right to err on the side of caution considering how Washington could be playing meaningful football in December and potentially beyond this season.

Newly acquired cornerback Marshon Lattimore also misses out. The four-time Pro Bowler had a hamstring issue coming over after a bombshell trade from the New Orleans Saints. After missing practice for the entire week, the coaching staff didn't risk him.

If that wasn't enough, some late drama emerged.

Prolific kicker Austin Seibert dealt with soreness on the right-hand side of his hip throughout the week. He was originally going to give it a shot but Washington downgraded him to out on Saturday. Veteran Zane Gonzalez was signed to the practice squad and elevated for the contest.

Long-snapper Tyler Ott was a late addition to the injury report through illness. Starting left guard Nick Allegretti is the Commanders' contingency plan if he cannot go or something unfortunate occurs during the clash.

Aside from that, it's almost all systems go for everyone else. This represents a stern test of Washington's credentials versus one of the league's better-organized outfits. Mike Tomlin always has his team ready. They should be extra prepared and well rested at Northwest Stadium considering they're coming off their bye week.

The Commanders are brimming with confidence and not without a chance. Just how much home-field advantage they'll have considering how well-traveled the Steelers' fanbase is remains to be seen, but head coach Dan Quinn knows Washington always has a legitimate chance with Jayden Daniels under center.

Not everyone got to participate. With this in mind, let's take a look at the inactive players for Week 10 on both teams.
