Dan Snyder sells the Commanders

This, above all else, would cement the perfect offseason. The Washington Commanders wouldn’t need to make another move.

All anybody wants to hear is those five magic words.

Dan Snyder sells the Commanders.

There is almost a constant stream of speculation about when – or perhaps if – Snyder will sell the team. Bidders are lining up to make their play and the world awaits to see whether or not Jeff Bezos will throw his hat in the ring, too.

Snyder is reportedly unwilling to come down from his asking price. There’s nothing specific regarding the sale on the agenda at this week’s NFL owners’ meetings, which only clouds the situation further for frustrated fans who just want an end to this ongoing saga.

The Commanders and its long-suffering fanbase are eagerly anticipating the start of a new era. Snyder’s brought nothing but scandal, ineptitude, and misery throughout his reign spanning more than two decades, so removing this dark cloud is only going to mean good things moving forward.

It might take some time for fans to fill the stands again. But they’ll start coming back, which would never happen under Snyder.

What’s important is the new owner comes with ambition, is willing to upgrade almost everything behind the scenes, and finally returns this once-proud NFL powerhouse back to its original standing.
