Dax Milne

Dax Milne is pretty much in the same boat as Gandy-Golden, though he’s buried much deeper on the depth chart. In our estimation, Milne, a seventh-round pick this past April, would be lucky to make the 53-man roster.

However, if he’s released and clear wavers, the Football Team would likely bring him back and stash him on the practice squad.

Darrick Forrest

Darrick Forrest is an intriguing prospect. He’s just in an unfortunate situation, as Washington is currently stacked at the safety position with Landon Collins, Bobby McCain, Deshazor Everett, Kam Curl and Jeremy Reaves.

Forrest has playmaking ability, as evidenced by his forced fumble near the goal line vs the Bengals, though it was called back on a lame helmet-to-helmet call.

The 2021 fifth-rounder has also showed promise on special teams, but he’ll need to beat out Reaves, who’s appeared in 20 games (six starts) for Washington over the last three years, to make the final roster.

Shaka Toney & William Bradley-King

Shaka Toney and William Bradley-King are fighting for the same position, so we just decided to lump them together.

We’ll start with Toney, who didn’t make much of an impact vs Cincy after he was flying all over the field the week prior against New England. The seventh-round rookie will need a strong showing on Sunday vs Baltimore if he stands a chance at being a part of Washington’s loaded pass-rushing unit.

The same can be said for Bradley-King, though he made a strong impression on Friday by recording a strip-sack.

Not that they deserve it, but like the other four names mentioned in this article, Toney and Bradley-King are in real danger of getting cut by Aug. 31.
