Round 2: Walker Little, Offensive Tackle, Stanford

Walker Little is one of the most underrated prospects in the 2021 NFL Draft.  Some analysts list him as a fifth or sixth-round prospect.  A few will say that the Stanford standout is likely to be selected in the fourth round.

The reason for Little’s lower rating is understandable to a certain point.  Little missed most of the 2019 season with a torn ACL and then he chose to opt-out of the 2020 season, mostly to prepare for the draft.

Missing so much time has hurt his draft status, but Little is very likely a first-round player if the injury had never occurred.  That is not an exaggeration.  Opting out was a very savvy decision and the rationale for doing so is very easy to comprehend.

By the time he is on the playing field again, it will be two years since the injury.  Little will be fully healed and the Washington Football Team will have a major steal in the second round.

Other Possible Second Round Targets:

  • Dillon Radunz, Offensive Tackle, North Dakota St.
  • Jabril Cox, Linebacker, LSU

  • Amon-Ra St. Brown, Wide Receiver, Southern California
