Incumbents

Seventeen teams will have the same starter who was under center opening day of 2020.

They are: Buffalo (Josh Allen), Pittsburgh (Ben Roethlisberger), Cleveland (Baker Mayfield), Baltimore (Lamar Jackson), Cincinnati (Joe Burrow), Tennessee (Ryan Tannehill), Kansas City (Patrick Mahomes), Las Vegas (Derek Carr), New England (Cam Newton), New York Giants (Daniel Jones), Dallas (Dak Prescott), Minnesota (Kirk Cousins), Tampa Bay (Tom Brady), Atlanta (Matt Ryan), Seattle (Russell Wilson), and Arizona (Kyler Murray).

If any of these are wrong, it is likely to be Joe Burrow, should he suffer a setback in his return from injury. But all reports suggest he is ahead of schedule and will be good to go by opening day.

There continue to be rumors – some loud, some quiet – about Carr, Jones, Cousins, and Wilson. I don’t believe any of those rumors.
