The Riggo’s Rag Roundtable has convened to weigh in on the Washington Football Team’s quarterback situation.

The Dwayne Haskins era didn’t last very long for the Washington Football Team. In fact, it lasted just under two seasons and about 19 months in calendar time.

As such, the long-term future of the Washington Football Team’s quarterback room is uncertain. While they have a handful of options on the roster right now, including fan-favorite Taylor Heinicke, the team still appears to be looking for an upgrade.

That has fans of the Washington Football Team feeling a bit restless. It’s been a long time since the team had a legitimate franchise quarterback and it’s been nearly a decade since Robert Griffin III looked like a potential long-term answer at the position. Could this be the offseason that the team finally finds the answer?

More from Riggo's Rag

Sure. It’s definitely possible. The 2021 NFL offseason looks like it’s going to have an unprecedented amount of quarterback movement during it. Already we’ve seen Matthew Stafford, Jared Goff, and Carson Wentz traded. There are five potential first-round quarterbacks in the 2021 NFL Draft. Dak Prescott is a free agent.

And, oh yeah, Deshaun Watson remains as a big fish on the trade market that could have a ripple effect on the league if he is, in fact, moved.

Yes, there will be options. But which one will Washington choose? At this point, it’s anyone’s guess. It could come in free agency. It could come via trade. Maybe the team will draft another first-round quarterback. Maybe they’ll go with a later-round option at the position.

Or, maybe they’ll not address the position at all and roll with their unproven quarterback room.

There’s only one certainty this offseason: We don’t know what the Washington Football Team would do. We only know that there are possibilities.

What are some of those possibilities? And which are the best among them? We gathered the Riggo’s Rag crew together for a roundtable discussion about which quarterback the team should target and why. Our best and brightest came up with these ideas.

So, kick back, relax, and enjoy a day’s worth of potential quarterbacks the Washington Football Team could target this offseason.
