Bold predictions for the Washington Football Team vs. the Eagles.

The Washington Football Team will have a chance to clinch the NFC East for the second consecutive week. All they have to is win and they’ll be in.

That win will have to come against the Philadelphia Eagles on the road. This game is a rematch of Washington’s Week 1 upset and come-from-behind victory against the Eagles that set the tone for the season. In that game, Washington started slowly but then roared back before halftime and played shutdown defense in the second half to emerge with the win.

The Eagles will surely be out for some measure of revenge even if this game has little meaning to them. They can’t make the playoffs, but perhaps the opportunity to get back at Washington for that Week 1 defeat and knock them out of the playoff race will be enough to motivate them to play well in this one.

Of course, the Eagles are dealing with countless injuries and will be without some of their best players including Fletcher Cox, Dallas Goedert, Miles Sanders, DeSean Jackson, and more. That will hurt their chances of emerging with a win, but if Doug Pederson and Jalen Hurts bring energy, they will have a chance to compete in this game.

Meanwhile, Washington will have no shortage of motivation either and Ron Rivera should have his team ready to play. They are dealing with injury concerns as well since Alex Smith, Antonio Gibson, and Terry McLaurin are all questionable for the game, but if they can suit up, this game should be Washington’s for the taking.

Washington will need to fight hard and be ready to score early and often to earn the win. Here’s a look at some bold predictions for what could be the final game of Washington’s season or what could be the start of a playoff run for the squad.
