Force and capitalize off Daniel Jones’ mistakes

New York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones comes with an oxymoronic guarantee: He will both keep the Giants in the game and take them out of the game.

Against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Jones played very well… if you take out his two costly turnovers. He capped off a clutch late drive down eight with a dime to Golden Tate for a touchdown.

Then, the very next play Jones was late getting out a pass to Dion Lewis on a two-point conversion attempt. It is the Daniel Jones experience. And the Washington Football Team has to take advantage of it.

The Buccaneers did not play their best game. Yet they took advantage and scored on the two Jones turnovers. That was the difference in the game.

Jones will make some plays. That is a given. However, Washington has to force him to make the crucial turnovers. And then the offense has to capitalize and score points off of them.

In a way, Jones and Kyle Allen are one in the same. They both make enough plays to keep you in it but they also can make crucial errors to take you out of it. Whichever team takes the most advantage of the opposing team’s quarterback’s mistakes wins on Sunday.
