Establish the run

The Dallas Cowboys unveiled a key aspect of helping a subpar Washington Football Team offense. Establish the run. As a team, Washington totaled 39 carries for 208 yards and a touchdown. They averaged 5.3 yards a rush.

As a result, the Washington offense was much more efficient against the Cowboys. Setting up the run allows for Kyle Allen to settle into the game. Play-action and RPO’s are much more effective. When the rushing attack is working, the Washington Football Team will get a better Kyle Allen.

A huge part of Washington’s gameplan every week is to prevent the mistakes of Kyle Allen. Unleashing Antonio Gibson and J.D. McKissic, with a mix of Peyton Barber will be key.

Establishing the run, as they did against Dallas, goes a long way to earning a potential victory.
