Positive and Negative No. 5

Positive No. 5

The fifth positive this week is head coach Ron Rivera and his battle with cancer.  The team honored him at the game with cardboard cutouts of players, coaches, and front office personnel that have been with him at various times over the years.  They donated to cancer research and the cutouts were featured in seats at FedEx Field for the Ravens game.

We know he will win this battle and this is a heartwarming positive for the week.

Negative No. 5

We really can’t have a negative at this juncture, especially after recognizing Coach Rivera’s battle.  The only ‘negative” here is that the team should have two more home games that would allow for more cutouts from the fans.  This would increase the donations to cancer research so we can defeat this blight on the world in the coming years.
