Jester Weah

Experience: 3rd season

Draft Status: 2018 undrafted free agent

2019 Stats: One game

More from Commanders News

2020 Outlook: Weah went undrafted in 2018, but he was considered to be a potential Day 3 pick with upside at the time of that draft. Now, he’s a third-year veteran hoping to find a spot in Washington’s receiving corps.

Expected Role: There aren’t many receiving groups that Weah would have a chance to battle for a spot in. But in Washington, he’ll at least have a chance to do that in. Still, his projection will be more as a depth guy that could find a role in the organization than someone who might make a legitimate impact in 2020.

Status: Practice squad hopeful. Weah probably doesn’t have a shot at the active roster but if the team wants to keep a couple of extra receivers on the practice squad, Weah will have a chance to earn one of those spots. He’ll be behind the likes of Kidsy, Johnson, and Wright for a spot there, but maybe he can beat one of them out for a spot because of his experience.
