No. 1 – RG Brandon Scherff

Brandon Scherff is an obvious choice to make the Pro Bowl this year. He is a constant prime starter on this offensive line. With the departure of Trent Williams, Scherff looks to be the best offensive lineman remaining on the Redskins roster.

In his five NFL seasons, Scherff has already made the Pro Bowl three times with many more to come. According to PFF, Scherff has never posted worse than a 70.8 overall grade in his five seasons, with his best grade (79.8) coming in 2017. Scherff has also not allowed more than three sacks a year in his five years and has only given up eight overall sacks in those same years.

One issue that needs to be mentioned when talking about Scherff is his recent injury problem. He has missed 13 games over the last two seasons and has not been able to stay on the field lately. With the change in medical staff, hopefully Scherff can overcome the injury bug this season.

With all of this being said, next season, Scherff should continue on this path of being a reliable RG in the league. If he manages to stay on the field the whole season, Scherff will without a doubt be headed to his fourth Pro Bowl in six years next season.
