The Washington Redskins hit the road and head to Dallas to finish what has been an incredibly disappointing 2019 season.

The Washington Redskins travel to Dallas to wrap up their 2019 season. They are coming off a 41-35 overtime loss to the Giants. For a second consecutive week, the Redskins youth looked good in a loss (turns out you can have cake and eat too). At 3-12 though, this season has not gone right for them.

Things have not gone right for Dallas this season, either. The Cowboys are coming off a devastating Week 16 loss to the Eagles that likely decided the division, though Dallas still can win it if Philly loses and the Cowboys win, so this game is incredibly important to them.

For the Redskins, this game is about getting the youth valuable game experience, and not a win. Washington currently has the second overall selection in the draft, and that has a ton of value, so they’d be better off losing. But, if Washington wants to make sure the hated Cowboys don’t sneak into the playoffs, here are three keys to victory in Week 17.

(I’d normally do five keys, but I’ve been sick for the last few days and didn’t get a chance to write a lot, plus this is a game many ‘Skins fans – myself included – want to lose to lock up the No. 2 pick.)
