Stud No. 3 – Redskins CBs Fabian Moreau and Quinton Dunbar

Both Fabian Moreau and Quinton Dunbar deserve recognition for their performances on Sunday. They’ve both undergone immense growth on the outside this season, and we could be looking at the team’s starting cornerback duo of the future. There’s still four games left, but in twelve games, this tandem has made an impression.

Moreau goes first, as he was just inches away from having back-to-back games with two interceptions, and the one pick that counted flipped the field for the Redskins offense, set up an easy touchdown for Derrius Guice, and laid the groundwork for Washington’s surge.

Dunbar didn’t get an interception, but he also made his presence felt; Allen avoided Dunbar for much of the outing, and a couple times down the stretch, when he tried to make something happen by going Dunbar’s way, Dunbar responded with several pass deflections in key spots, denying the offense any semblance of success.

Dunbar is 27, and Moreau is 23. These two cornerbacks have at least three prime years left together, and we’ve now seen both of them produce consistently this season. Dunbar was already mounting a Pro Bowl-caliber campaign, and now Moreau has joined him as a consistent producer on the outside. Will they be able to keep it up against Aaron Rodgers next week?
