Winning has taken on a different meaning for the 2019 Redskins, now that the youth of the team has become the primary focus of the season.

Last week, we saw what a win meant to the Washington Redskins, when they narrowly defeated the Detroit Lions at home, by a score of 19-16. The win was, to be blunt, ugly, as Redskins fans have become accustomed to watching, and there were plenty of things to fix. But the team needed the morale boost, and the young players responded positively to the notion that their hard work was finally paying off.

This week, the Redskins will aim to string together two straight wins, but they’ll have a tough test in the Carolina Panthers. The Panthers, 5-6 through eleven games, are an incredibly volatile team, but they have some of the game’s top talents on both sides of the ball in Christian McCaffrey and Luke Kuechly.

The Redskins have the talent to put up a fight, but can they capitalize on the momentum created last week, and compound that momentum with growth and development? That’s the golden question, and it’s one Washington will be pressured to answer, when their game kicks off at 1:00 PM eastern standard time.

To watch the Redskins game, you can tune in on live television if you live in the D.C. area, or in the Carolinas. If you don’t live in the aforementioned areas, don’t fret; you can still watch the game live by using one of a number of online live streaming options, including NFL Game Pass and FuboTV.
