Arizona Cardinals

Chalk this up as another “not yet” prediction. The Cardinals came into the offseason with the cupboard almost completely empty. Coaching, talent, depth; they had almost none of all those things.

They initiated a hard reset by hiring outsider Kliff Kingsbury as their head coach, and while the jury is still out on him, they did add a lot of talent in the NFL Draft, notching steals in almost every round, with a class that included Kyler Murray, Byron Murphy, Andy Isabella, Zach Allen, Hakeem Butler, Deionte Thompson, and KeeSean Johnson.

With this young core, the Cardinals should start to show signs of improvement. But this is the start of the rebuild. It’s not meant to be pretty. They lack depth on both sides of the trenches and with so much youth and so much uncertainty, this team is bound to be volatile, and prone to mistakes.
