Denver Broncos

I’m very excited to see where the Broncos’ long-term track takes them. They’ve done a great job siphoning new, young talent into the defense to keep that unit up to par, and on offense, there’s great potential for future success. Offensive coordinator Rich Scangarello comes from a  very fruitful coaching lineage, and Drew Lock, the team’s franchise quarterback-to-be, has outstanding upside.

That said, while the potential is there, it hasn’t been uncased yet, and it may take time for all the pieces to come into place. In Vic Fangio’s first year as the Broncos head coach, the defense will be electric, but the offense, with Joe Flacco under center and an average offensive line, will have its inconsistencies.

In a division with the Chiefs and Chargers, two great offenses, the Broncos won’t be able to keep up. But with the foundation laid this year, perhaps they’ll come back and get revenge on their counterparts in the years to come.
