Kansas City Chiefs

People always like to throw out hot takes after a team has a historic season, and say “Hope you enjoyed that, because it’s not happening again”.

I’ll spare the theatrics with the Chiefs. They’re not going anywhere. Their fast offense got faster, their swiss cheese-esque defense got better, and they should get back to the second week of the playoffs, with a comfy bye week to keep them fresh.

Even with Patrick Mahomes due for a regression from his MVP numbers, the machine is firing on all cylinders, and in the AFC West, there’s a clear gap from No. 1 to No. 2.
