No. 3 – CB Quinton Dunbar

Like the last few weeks, Redskins cornerback Quinton Dunbar is not guaranteed to play. And like the last few weeks, his inclusion, or exclusion, on the game day roster, will have a tenuous effect on the outcome of the game itself.

Dunbar has only been active for six games this season, but it’s clear that when Washington lacks the wide receiver convert, they truly miss him. Dunbar managed to snag two interceptions before a nerve injury sidelined him for an extended period of time, and when he was on the field, the Redskins had more experience.

If Dunbar can play, he’ll give Washington experience and depth at cornerback they’ve lacked for a substantial period of time. If he can’t, then the rookie time bomb of Greg Stroman and Danny Johnson will be tested once more. Both rookies have had moments of promise. But Dunbar is the only true starter of the group, and his impact is sorely missed.
