It’s time to pod up.

It’s still early in the offseason, but as each day passes, the 2018 regular season grows closer. And with time, an abundance of questions still lingering on the Washington Redskins roster will be answered. But it’s never too early to take a shot at predicting what might happen.

For the most part, the Washington Redskins’ roster appears to be set. The Washington Redskins finally have a semblance of stability at the quarterback position. Their starting offensive line is essentially set in stone, and on the defensive line, the team has a comfortable rotation which should drastically improve their performance both rushing the passer and stopping the run.

Despite these early assurances, there are some spots on the roster that are less certain. Kevin Hogan is currently the team’s No. 3 quarterback, but will he stay in favor of a spot somewhere else? The backup slots at both running back and wide receiver remain up for grabs. Will returning players like Kapri Bibbs and Robert Davis grow into increased roles, or will undrafted sleepers like Martez Carter and Cam Sims emerge victorious?

It’s too early to know the answers, but our own Ken Johannessen took his best shot at predicting the final roster in his first roster projection earlier this week, and tonight, he joins Jacob Camenker, Nathan Britton, and I on the Riggo’s Rag podcast. Johannessen gave us a lot of insight, and you’ll want to hear what he has to say. You can listen in on the conversation here:

On top of the roster conversation, we also dwelled on Quinton Dunbar’s rumored number change, Alex Smith’s snub from the NFL Top 100 players, the upcoming supplemental draft, and more!

Last week, we debated on Jay Gruden’s job security, and the week before that, we went over why fans should be excited about the Washington Redskins secondary this year.
