The Washington Redskins need to notch a win at home against the San Francisco 49ers in Week 6. Here’s a look at the top players to watch for them this week.

The Washington Redskins are in a pretty good place going into Week 6 of the NFL season. Though they lost in their Week 4 matchup before the bye and are dealing with a key injury to Josh Norman, they have a chance to stay competitive in the division.

The Cowboys are 2-3 and have taken a step backwards. The Giants, sitting at 0-5, are a non-factor. Philadelphia is just about the only competitive team, as the Eagles are currently sitting at 4-1 before their Thursday night matchup with the Carolina Panthers. The Redskins have a chance to take control of second place with a win, and playing against the 49ers they will have a chance to win.

Kyle Shanahan is returning to Washington for the first time as a head coach, and he brings an inexperienced squad with him. The 49ers have a decent roster, but they have a lot of young players who need to grow before playing a key role with their team. That’s why they have gone 0-5 so far, but they will have a chance to win some games in the future.

The Redskins shouldn’t have trouble taking down the 49ers, but they will still need some players to step up in order to secure a victory. With that said, here’s a look at the five Redskins to watch against San Francisco in NFL Week 6.
