Junior Galette has a bit of a spotty legal history. According to reports, he was arrested again over the course of the weekend.

Junior Galette has not played a single snap during his two year career with the Washington Redskins. Galette has suffered season ending injuries in each of his two offseasons with the team, and as a result, the team does not know how well he will fit in with the team. When the Redskins brought Galette in, the signing came with a great deal of risk.

NFL Draft: Dalvin Tomlinson Should Be A Priority For Washington Redskins

Galette had been cut by the New Orleans Saints in 2014 after a video of him attacking a woman with a belt on beach surfaced on YouTube. Additionally, he was arrested for domestic violence after allegedly attacking a woman who asked him for cab fare. In both cases, charges were either never filed or dropped.

Now, Galette finds himself in trouble once again. According to television station WLOX, Galette was arrested on Friday night. The reporter of the story, Doug Walker, said the following of the situation:

More from Riggo's Rag

"There were 52 arrests made by Biloxi police directly tied to the spring break event. The most curious one was the arrest of former Saints defensive lineman Junior Galette. He was arrested Friday night at MGM Park after getting into a fight and running away. He was charged with disorderly conduct and failure to comply."

If this is indeed true, then the Redskins could have a situation on their hands. The charges may not sound as severe as his previous encounters, but the fact is that he still was arrested for a violent action. The Redskins did re-sign Galette to a one-year deal this offseason, but they may not think he is worth the trouble if these allegations are true.

As mentioned earlier, Galette has never played a snap for the Redskins. In fact, the last time he played in an NFL game was with the New Orleans Saints back in 2014. During that season, Galette was a strong pass rusher who totaled 10 sacks over the course of the season. It was his second straight season with double digit sacks, and he looked like a long term member of the team.

Now, Galette is looking more and more like damaged goods. Galette has some serious injury concerns, and he also has a penchant for getting in trouble with law enforcement. Though the Redskins need depth at the rush linebacker position, especially with the pending four-game suspension of Trent Murphy, but they cannot rely on Galette. If he does not get this situation sorted out quickly, the team could decide that he is not worth the risk.

At the end of the day, this mistake could prove to be a crucial one for Galette. As more details about the arrest come out, expect the Redskins to make a decision about his status. No matter what happens, he will be on thin ice with the team.
