Robert Griffin III Versus the Cincinnati Bengals 2012-The First Quarter

Griffin took a sack on his first passing attempt of the game. His arm was bumped by RB Alfred Morris and he fumbled and was tackled after recovering the ball. He follows that up with two complete passes but fails to pick up the first down. The second drive of the game is a three and out and another punt.

Griffin picked up the Redskins initial first down of the game with a pass to Josh Morgan on the third drive. That was followed by sacks of Griffin on the next two plays. A screen to Evan Royster was not enough for the first down and the first quarter ended with no offensive points the for the Redskins although Rob Jackson had a defensive touchdown as the Bengals led 14-7.
