Gary Clark and Santana Moss were both all-time greats for the Washington Redskins. But which one was the better of the two?

What I believe to be one of the greatest quotes of all-time came from The Sandlot. One of the best baseball movies ever, The Sandlot features a scene where Benny “The Jet” Rodriguez is visited by the spirit of Babe Ruth, who tries to encourage him to jump a fence and take on a vicious guard dog to get back an autographed Babe Ruth ball. In the scene, Ruth utters the iconic line that still stands strong today.

"“Remember kid, there’s heroes and there’s legends. Heroes get remembered, but legends never die.”"

In sports, there are always heroes every game. The guy who hits a walk-off homer. The guy who kicks the winning field goal. But legends, they are a bit harder to come by. Each sports team has a handful of legends, including the Washington Redskins.

Over the course of their existence, the Redskins have seen many players suit up in the burgundy and gold. Only a few have made it to the Redskins ring of honor. Gary Clark is one of them, and Santana Moss will likely be up there as well.

In the next installment of our Redskins Legends Bracket, Clark and Moss will face off head to head in the receivers portion. Two legends go in, and one will come out. The winner, as voted by the fans on Twitter, will move on to round two to face yesterday’s winner, No. 1 seed Ark Monk. So without further ado, let’s have a look at the case for Clark and Moss as Redskins legends.
