After looking near certainties to make the playoffs just a few short weeks ago, the Commanders are teetering on the edge after losing their last three contests. Had it not been for a miracle Hail Mary versus the Chicago Bears, this is a .500 team. Bouncing back in their last engagement before the bye is crucial to ensure no more momentum is lost.
The Titans come into the game having beaten the Houston Texans in Week 12. They only have three wins to show for their efforts this season, but underestimating them is not an option. This is still a dangerous team capable of making life extremely difficult if not afforded enough respect.
A rousing effort is needed. Head coach Dan Quinn needs to have his men ready for battle. If the Commanders can execute more effectively - especially on offense - they should have enough to secure their eighth victory of the campaign.

Jayden Daniels set a lofty bar for himself with a sensational start to the campaign. The No. 2 overall selection in the 2024 NFL Draft proved his worth immediately. There was always going to be a dip from such lofty standards at some stage.
That's happened over the last three weeks. Daniels looks more hesitant than usual behind a regressing offensive line. There's no need to panic long-term, but it'll be interesting to see how the signal-caller and coordinator Kliff Kingsbury respond versus a stout Titans defensive front this weekend.
