Commanders at NY Giants - Week 10
- Date: Thursday, November 12
- Time: 8:15 p.m. ET
- Venue: MetLife Stadium
- Channel: Amazon Prime
A short week awaits the Washington Commanders when they travel to the New York Giants on Thursday Night Football. And revenge will be on their mind.
This gives the Commanders a quick chance to right their most egregious wrong of the campaign so far. Washington seemed to have their game against the Giants at Northwest Stadium wrapped up, but an inexplicable fourth-quarter collapse and even worse game management in overtime condemned them to a tie.
Head coach Dan Quinn will remind his squad of that before they take to the field at MetLife Stadium. And they should not lack motivation.
The Giants currently lead the NFC East at 4-2-1. They are reportedly looking to make a bold move before the trade deadline, and they have also thrown their faith behind quarterback J.J. McCarthy after his impressive debut.
However, the Commanders were the far superior club when they first met, before mental errors cost them. The Giants were thankful to get out of the game without losing, but if Washington can win this one, it might put them back in the division title picture.
- Prediction: Win (3-5-1)
That is the incentive for Quinn and his squad. And they simply have to wipe the taste of such a dismal first game against the Giants out of their mouths.

Commanders vs. Bengals - Week 11
- Date: Monday, November 23
- Time: 8:15 p.m. ET
- Venue: Northwest Stadium
- Channel: ESPN/ABC
The Washington Commanders will get a long mini-bye week to rest and prepare before another prime-time clash, which could be their final nationally televised game of the season. And it promises to be a mouthwatering one.
The Cincinnati Bengals are a gung-ho team. They pass the ball more than most, and they've been very successful doing it. Quarterback Joe Burrow is an elite presence under center, benefiting greatly from the wide receiver tandem of Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins on the outside. Mike Gesicki is enjoying a renaissance at tight end, and the offensive line has made major strides.
Cincinnati's defense is also more formidable after hefty offseason investments. Their trade for Dexter Lawrence II is reaping rewards, and former Commanders defensive lineman Jonathan Allen is enjoying a new lease of life. They are generating more pressure, doing just enough to help the offense.
This game invokes memories of Jayden Daniels' breakout game against the Bengals during his rookie year. A lot has happened since then, but the signal-caller almost always saves his best for prime time.
He'll need all that and more to match Cincinnati's high-octane offense.
- Prediction: Loss (3-6-1)
This one is a coin flip, honestly. The Commanders have a shot, but their defense might have a rough day trying to contain the Bengals' offense when it's all said and done.
