Commanders vs. Bengals - Week 11 (MNF)

Things don't get any easier for the Washington Commanders when they take on the Cincinnati Bengals on Monday Night Football. After the way they dismantled the Baltimore Ravens in the second half, head coach Dan Quinn has his work cut out.

The Bengals' offense has always been prolific, even with a subpar offensive line. Quarterback Joe Burrow, wide receivers Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins, and running back Chase Brown are a formidable quartet when firing on all cylinders. But for the first time in years, their defense is keeping up.

Washington should know all about Dexter Lawrence II and Jonathan Allen, both of whom are playing lights out right now. Stopping them and the Bengals offense is something else entirely.

Prediction: Loss (2-7-1)

Commanders at Cardinals - Week 12

Coming off a short week, the Commanders must travel to take on the Arizona Cardinals. And while the NFC West club is arguably more competitive than most experts predicted, they remain among the bottom feeders.

The Commanders are right there with them. Morale will be low if things go this way, but they can definitely win if everyone executes their assignments and keeps mistakes to a minimum.

Washington's defense will have its hands full with running back Jeremiah Love, if he's healthy. Tight end Trey McBride is a reception machine if given enough space, and wide receiver Michael Wilson can also make things happen.

Couple this with a young, athletic defense, and the complications are there. However, the Commanders have enough to do the job.

Prediction: Win (3-7-1)

Commanders at Titans - Week 13

The Tennessee Titans have been underwhelming so far this season. This was always going to be a gradual rebuild under head coach Robert Saleh. So far, that's proven to be true, with only one triumph to their name.

Quarterback Cam Ward isn't justifying his No. 1 pick status. He's making too many mistakes, and the pressure is beginning to show. Running back Tony Pollard is doing his part, but the signal-caller's inconsistencies are hurting the production of some talented wide receivers.

Their defense is doing an admirable job of keeping them competitive. But until Ward sorts himself out, the Commanders should feel confident about another road win.

Prediction: Win (4-7-1)

Commanders vs. Texans - Week 14

The Commanders return to Northwest Stadium for a tricky test against the Houston Texans. While the AFC South franchise hasn't performed up to its usual standards at times this season, they can't afford to underestimate this team.

This game will be won or lost in the trenches. The Commanders' offensive line has to keep Will Anderson Jr. and Danielle Hunter out of the backfield, which is a thankless task. On the other side, Daronte Jones' defensive front must get quarterback C.J. Stroud off his spot where he isn't comfortable.

Washington has a shot, but the Texans might have more to play for as the business end of the campaign approaches. That could prove decisive.

Prediction: Loss (4-8-1)
