The Washington Commanders are entering a high-pressure situation after the bye week. Their record since reaching the conference championship game is abysmal, and even though the players are still fighting for head coach Dan Quinn, that will only go so far.
Some fans have already made up their minds. They want change, but majority owner Josh Harris isn't known for firing people in-season. That gives Quinn more time, and what he does with it will ultimately decide his future.
The Commanders have seemingly gotten through the toughest part of their schedule. They have some winnable games ahead, but the trade deadline also factors into the equation.
Stakes are high. The margin for error vanished long ago. Unless the Commanders become fundamentally sound and stop making stupid errors in critical moments, this will only end one way.
With this in mind, we predicted every game from the Commanders' post-bye schedule as pressure continues to grow.
Predicting the Washington Commanders' games after the bye week as pressure builds
Commanders vs. Eagles - Week 8 (SNF)
The Commanders will never get a better chance to beat the Philadelphia Eagles. Nick Sirianni's squad is in freefall without starting quarterback Jalen Hurts, has lost its last five contests, and faces major problems elsewhere on the roster.
Washington simply has to win this one. They are coming off the bye week and have no excuses. They should be well rested and extra prepared for Sunday Night Football, so anything less than a convincing victory on home soil will have severe ramifications.
Prediction: Win (2-4-1)

Commanders vs. LA Rams - Week 9
The Los Angeles Rams have gone through some complications this season. Heading to the East Coast for a 1:00 p.m. ET kickoff is a hurdle they'll have to clear, but the NFC West club looked more like the contender many expected against the Las Vegas Raiders.
Sean McVay's offense is difficult to stop. The defense could have star edge rusher Myles Garrett back for this one, which could prove complicated against Washington's offensive line. The elements might favor Quinn, but the gulf in quality between the two squads is clear.
Prediction: Loss (2-5-1)
Commanders at NY Giants - Week 10
The Commanders will look to avenge their egregious overtime catastrophe against the New York Giants when they travel to MetLife Stadium in Week 10. But this is not the same team.
As Washington founders, the Giants are enjoying a new lease of life under head coach John Harbaugh. J.J. McCarthy is under center and played well in his first full game. The defense is flying around, and wide receiver Malik Nabers looks like his best self again.
Washington has a shot if everyone meets expectations. But the Giants are a different team on home turf these days.
Prediction: Loss (2-6-1)
