Predicting the Commanders next four games after 2-1 start in 2023

Commanders vs. Bears - Week 5
A quick turnaround for the Washington Commanders sees the primetime cameras descend on FedEx Field for Thursday Night Football on Amazon Prime. And looking at the opposition, this represents one of the more winnable games remaining on the schedule.
After some hefty investment on the playing side this offseason, many predicted the Chicago Bears to make significant improvements and perhaps even contend for an NFC North title in 2023. Nothing could be further from the truth currently, with the team going through some severe complications that could see them with a high-end draft pick in 2024 once again.
Justin Fields isn't playing well to date. The third-year quarterback looks lost behind a torrid offensive line and their once-renowned defense is giving up chunk plays at will to further heighten concerns.
This is a tremendous opportunity for the Commanders to get themselves back on track. Their defensive front has enough to cause untold problems for Fields and providing quarterback Sam Howell protects the football, the firepower is there on offense to do damage.
Prediction: Win (3-2)
Thursday night games are always crap shoots given the wear and tear on players' bodies and minimal preparation/recovery time. However, it would be a major disappointment if the Commanders didn't emerge from this game victorious given the standard of opposition.
