To say changes have been abundant within the NFL's most historic division would do it no justice. The Philadelphia Eagles at this point can be considered nothing short of a perennial power. The Dallas Cowboys, despite all of their playoff woes in recent history, are a very solid organization that wins a lot of games. The New York Giants are still somewhat erratic, sometimes failing to make the playoffs and other times winning the Super Bowl.

When it comes to the modern-day Washington Commanders, one is left to use their imagination. Will Jayden Daniels become the next failed quarterback experiment in the nation's capital? Or will he be the savior that everyone thought Robert Griffin III had the capabilities to accomplish?

Instead of considering prospects for 2025 and beyond, let's look into how the NFC East will stack up in 2024.

4. New York Giants

Changes have come to the New York Giants. Does that necessarily mean that they have improved enough to compete in the division? Only time will tell, but the early estimate suggests not.

Despite their 6-11 campaign, the Giants have only added three new starters. One of them, former LSU star wide receiver Malik Nabers, should come in and make an immediate impact. With quarterback Daniel Jones still at the helm, the rookie's production could be impacted unless his signal-caller becomes more consistent.

The Giants also brought in help on the backside with the additions of second-round pick Tyler Nubin and third-rounder Dru Phillips. However, one needs only to look at the rest of the roster to see what complications could emerge.

This is the type of roster that needs a superior quarterback to lead the way if they are going to make the playoffs. That's something the Giants don't have. Perhaps they should have drafted a quarterback. After all, they had their pick of Michael Penix Jr., J.J. McCarthy, and Bo Nix. This is placing a lot of belief in a player who likely doesn't deserve it.

Their success is dependent on Jones. Things are hanging precariously, but the Giants have a track record for proving people wrong frequently.
