If you translate those odds to implied probability, there's a 67.21% chance of the LSU quarterback being the No. 2 pick in the draft.
There were reports at one point in time that J.J. McCarthy would be the Commanders' eventual selection, but since then the odds have shifted heavily toward Daniels. The pick would make a lot of sense after the team signed Marcus Mariota to be the backup quarterback, who plays a similar style as the Heisman winner.
Drake Maye is still a possibility at +190 odds, but McCarthy is now a long shot at +2600.
