Drake Maye heavily favored to land with Washington Commanders in 2024 NFL Draft odds
The NFL Combine is in the books which means the Draft is the next thing for us football fans to look forward to.
There's almost no question what position the Washington Commanders will go with their No. 2 overall pick, which means the only thing left to be answered is which quarterback they'll end up taking. Lucky for us, there are betting odds available for who will be taken second overall, so let's take a look.
Washington Commanders Draft Odds
It seems to be one of two quarterbacks that will be selected by the Washington Commanders with the No. 2 overall pick. Drake Maye is currently the favorite at -140 odds, which is an implied probability of 58.33%.
The second of two options seems to be Jayden Daniels, the Heisman winner from LSU, who comes in at +125 odds. Caleb Williams is a distant third on the odds list at +1400 odds, but all reports seem to indicate that he'll be the first player taken off the board by the Chicago Bears.
The Commanders gave Sam Howell a shot to be their quarterback of the future last season, but things didn't go as planned. He led the league in interceptions with 21 and posted a QBR of just 42.4. He looked solid at times, especially early in the season, but with the Commanders having the No. 2 overall pick in a QB-heavy draft, they would be smart to take a shot at one of the top prospects at the position.
